Shellbling.com was established on August 2009 by husband and wife, Jacob and Joy Crossley. My products are all handmade. My jewelry is all handmade from shell, not only do I hand make my pieces for Etsy, but I also handmake the packaging when I ship to Etsy customers.
I was inspired by shell because in my home country shell is very abundant and famous. I was also inspired by its natural beauty and seeing somebody wear shell jewelry makes them look more elegant without any effort. I came up with the name shellbling because “bling” has become a very popular word for jewelry and/ or shine- like the people say “I like your bling bling”. That is what the jewelry at Shellbling represent- a shell jewelry with a bling (a shell jewelry that shines). My shell jewelry can be worn in any given season.
